New Guidelines for Treating Lupus Nephritis

New guidelines for treating lupus nephritis from the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) were just published in the ACR official journal The Rheumatologist.

Developed by a panel of experts from nephrology and rheumatology, the guidelines provide detailed recommendations for screening and treatment. A former LRI grant recipient, Bevra Hahn, MD, professor of medicine and chief of rheumatology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, was chair of the guideline development committee and first author of the document.
