Meet LRI’s New Scientific Advisors

The Lupus Research Institute is honored to introduce four new members to our Scientific Advisory Board.  We welcome Katherine Siminovitch, MD, Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute of Mount Sinai Hospital and University of Toronto; Mark Shlomchik, MD, PhD, Professor and Chair Department of Immunology, University of Pittsburgh; David Isenberg, MD, Head, Centre for Rheumatology and Bloomsbury Rheumatology Unit, University College Hospital, London; and Bevra Hahn, MD, Professor of Medicine, Chief, Division of Rheumatology, David Geffen UCLA School of Medicine, Los Angeles.

Comprised of recognized thought leaders in the field, the Scientific Advisory Board guides LRI’s overarching scientific strategy to realize the organization’s mission. With these additions, the collective expertise of the SAB spans the full continuum from fundamental science through translational and clinical studies.  The additions of Dr. Isenberg from the United Kingdom and Dr. Siminovitch from Canada deepen the LRI’s global perspective.
