Congressional Lupus Caucus Co-chair Commends Our Supporters

U.S. Representative William (Bill) Keating sends a message of hope to supporters of the S.L.E. Lupus Foundation and the Lupus Research Institute (LRI) with the attached letter on the occasion of our Gala 2012. Representative Keating notes his appreciation as for the opportunity as co-chair and founder of the recently formed Congressional Lupus Caucus to work with the LRI and  other lupus organizations to help further research for this little-understood disease. The LRI co-sponsored the first Congressional Lupus Briefing held by the Caucus this summer, and we are proud to continue to advocate at the federal level on behalf of all people with lupus.
