Researchers Identify Biomarkers with Potential to Help Prevent Preterm Birth in Lupus Patients
Wednesday, February 13, 2013
The Lupus Research Institute congratulates our Scientific Advisory Board member Dr. David Pisetsky for his participation in an important study from Duke University on a recent discovery identifying biological markers (biomarkers) in the blood that may help predict which pregnant lupus patients are at risk of their babies being born prematurely. The study was led by Dr. Megan Clowse who directs the Duke Lupus Clinic and the Duke Pregnancy in Autoimmunity Registry.
