FDA Working to Alleviate Shortage in Lupus treatment, Methotrexate

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and other federal officials said this week that a shortage of a drug used to treat childhood leukemia and other diseases could be resolved within two weeks, as a shuttered manufacturing plant releases warehoused doses and other drug makers ramp up production.
