UK Government Health Agency Issued Final Guidelines Recommending Against Benlysta Coverage

In its final draft guidance the United Kingdom’s health watchdog National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) continues to recommend against coverage by the National Health Service of the recently approved Benlysta (belimumab) for lupus despite a cost-saving offer from the manufacturers.
